Our liquid products team is one of the largest providers of liquidity in the United States. In addition to serving as a primary dealer of US treasury securities since 1984, we actively underwrite debentures issued by government-sponsored enterprises, and we are market makers in bullet notes and callable securities. We also offer access to the discount and repurchase note markets, as well as commercial paper.

In late 2007, RBS successfully led the consortium bid for ABN AMRO.
